Share your best spring cleaning tips 🧹

Oh my! We’ve landed on Wednesday already? I hope it’s starting off on a good note for you. My family and I are packing some items for donation. 📦 We got into the habit of decluttering recently. After all, a tidy home is a happy home, eh? Are you also in spring cleaning mode? Share your best tips here.

Sorry I disagree - an untidy house looks like it is lived in- A pristine house looks like you dare not touch anything or the owner will kill you!!!

Yes agree with this, my youngest daughter has said that I am a hoarder. I don`t believe this is the truth, my house is very tidy, but it is full of all the things that I love, all the memories of the children`s life, things that we saved for and have sentimental value. Pieces that have been handed down to us that meant a lot to our passed relatives. I would call this a home and I feel very comfortable living here.
On the other hand my daughter and younger members of the family seem to like a so called minimalist look and it leaves me cold.
Recently after the passing of my aunt I have been forced to go through her belongings and she was a lot like me, she owned some beautiful items and I am having such a terrible time deciding what to do with them. I am not going to send them to an Op Shop because I want to hand them on to someone who will love them like she did. So right now there is a Mexican Stand off going on in my mind, it could go on for a while too!! I don`t care.
