Sentebale Thrives After Prince Harry’s Exit, Says Chairwoman

The Chairwoman of Sentebale has shared a confident update about the charity’s progress following Prince Harry’s departure. Once co-founded by the Duke of Sussex, Sentebale continues to grow, adapt, and inspire — a true reflection of its mission to bring hope to vulnerable communities. Despite Harry’s exit, the organization remains a symbol of Finding Freedom, not just for the Duke himself, but for the charity’s independent evolution as well.

From Royal Roots to Global Reach

Sentebale was established in 2006 by Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho, with a mission to support children and young people affected by HIV and poverty. Over the years, the charity has expanded its operations, reaching thousands across southern Africa. Now, under new leadership, the organization has found renewed focus and strength, embodying a powerful sense of Finding Freedom in its direction and vision.

The Chairwoman’s Confident Words

In a recent statement, Sentebale’s Chairwoman praised the team’s resilience and dedication, saying the charity is “in a strong position” to continue its vital work. She emphasized that while Prince Harry played an instrumental role in its founding, Sentebale’s spirit of compassion and service has flourished independently. Her words resonated with themes of Finding Freedom, highlighting how growth and purpose can continue beyond transitions and changes.

Independence as a New Beginning

While Prince Harry’s move away from royal duties marked a major turning point, the charity’s continued success demonstrates how both parties have pursued their paths of Finding Freedom. For Harry, it was about redefining his public role; for Sentebale, it was about standing tall as a self-sustaining organization. Both journeys, in their own way, reflect the courage to embrace change and authenticity.
