Sea of hats​

Remember when your mum and grandma always wore hats when they went out? Well, hats were a thing back in the day, and this photo of a CWA meeting at Lennon's Hotel in Sydney in the 1960s shows just how popular they were. Almost every woman in the picture is wearing one, and they come in all shapes and sizes. This photo is also a reminder of when women took more time to get dressed in their finest clothes, with gloves and pearl necklaces. People just don’t dress like that these days.
