Sea Breeze Sandwich Bar​

Ah, who else remembers the Sea Breeze Sandwich Bar in Surfers Paradise back in 1971? You could snag a cheesy sandwich (or sardine, if you were feeling adventurous) for just 15 cents and pair it with a coffee that cost the same. And those milkshakes the girls were sipping looked absolutely delicious! Such great memories of carefree beach holidays…

I could tell you about a time a bunch of Army fellow had the weekend off from Canungra and went to Surfer's, but I won't. What happens in Surfer's stays in Surfer's.

I haven’t actually been to that one but I have been to many others in years gone by. I especially The remember the one at Cronulla Beach which was very similar to the one in photo.
Lots of ice creams and drinks were bought there during the summer holidays.
