Off to work today…..it was hard, but not as bad as I thought it was going to be….there were tears May I say lots of tears .

Congratulations Bullwinkle %...I hope you and your workmates will enjoy a huge send off for you when the day comes....sure there will be lots of tears on the day but I'm more than confident that it will turn out well...it is a hard time to come to grips with after working with people for such a long time, many of whom become close friends and not just workmates. In the end you can jump on your Harley and ride off to another special moment in your lifetime with the wind in your hair and not a care in the world.....Born to Ride.

I remember watching that on TV when it happened....could not believe that brother Greg who was Captain at the time actually allowed Trevor to do it, and Rod Marsh was nearly pulling his hair out in shock/horror before he bowled....I was so disgusted that our National side could even think of doing it let alone following it through....it was the last ball of the one day series against New Zealand and they needed a six...just to draw the game, not even win it. It was the lowest thing that I have ever seen and really felt ashamed. Never had anytime for Greg or Trevor after that.

Yes I remember watching it as well and was ashamed to see Australia stoop to such a level. Ian was I believe collateral damage for the action of his brothers despite no longer part of the Aus team and I remember him being jeered by the crowd whenever he appeared on ground in charity matches but in the end he still scored a commentary position with the 9 team which was good. Hear nothing about Trevor anymore and don't care much about Greg either.
