From now until 11:59 p.m. this Friday, October 6 (or until all tickets are sold out), Jetstar will sell one-way flights to several of Asia's best destinations from Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, and the Gold Coast as part of their recent Taste of Asia Sale.

Have you always wanted to experience the culture of Vietnam’s bustling city, Ho Chi Minh? Jetstar now offers flights as low as $169 if you’re flying from either Melbourne or Sydney. Meanwhile, flights from Gold Coast, Adelaide and Brisbane range from $248 to $278.

Typically they don't include Perth in their sale prices. Same as Qantas. We rarely get special deals in Perth.
This is why I never fly Qantas or Jetstar and never will unless I just don't have a choice.

They don't need to fill empty seats from Perth, why would they offer a discount if not required? Appears from your comments you've found an alternative discounted airfare.
