SCAMS​

My Mum is nearly 87 and still uses a computer. But she has great difficulty with the amount of scams coming through. Are they genuine or are they not.
One way to check is too look at the senders email address. For example, McAfee which is a virus protection organisation, here is their email address, [email protected] or Spotify [email protected] and Hidden Secret [email protected]
This should alert you immediately that it is a scam, just delete the message. Electricity, Telecommunications, Banking, Superannuation are just some that are being heavily targeted. I always say IF IN DOUBT DELETE. If they really want to contact you they will send you something in the mail.
