The text pretends to be from Qantas, saying that a substantial amount of your Qantas points are about to expire and even providing a link for 'details'.

I just don’t get it
How can people fall into such scams?
Have been getting scams for ages
Just report and block if by phone
Check on websites rather then believe every useless message
Eg I had 2 scam messsges overnight
I blocked
I took a photo and sent report to fraud at Vodafone
That’s it
Qantas never sends messages to your mobile
Check directly on website
The only problem is that the govt doesn’t care enough to stop scammers by arresting them and putting them away

If your offered a large amount of Qantas points from Qantas I would say it is a scam, anything to do with that once good airline is a scam now days since the Irish idiot took over and destroyed it.

I use my Qantas card regularly. I know my points are safe. They do not expire if c/card is used often.
BUT and I emphasise BUT I received a text saying a parcel could not be delivered, wrong, both people home at 8.30. I deleted it. Another one came at 9.04am both home, I deleted it. A parcel was delivered and received by us from the driver who texted nobody. Go figure. So darn hard to know what these days.

If your offered a large amount of Qantas points from Qantas I would say it is a scam, anything to do with that once good airline is a scam now days since the Irish idiot took over and destroyed it.

I received a message today proclaiming to be from COSTCO.

'I had been chosen for a survey with the lure of a prize which had a limited time'.

My Scam Alert warned that this was a scam where l could be asked for sensitive information.

Members please be aware of this new scam & delete it.
