SCAM ALERT​

I am a NON Commonwealth Bank Customer and just received this email.
If you are, don't be fooled.

Yes I've had similar and as usual I just go straight to my netbank and never click on links.

I knew my cards were still working and If you had a real message it would be as an alert in netbank.

I got a lovely email from NRMA on Wednesday. It was an obvious scam on two fronts.

1. I haven't been a NRMA customer since 1981.

2. The sender's address was <[email protected]>. Bloody Tunisia! Nobody is that dumb to fall for such crap!

If banks etc did email us then they would address it as Dear Deni, or whatever your name is, that's a huge giveaway when they address it Dear Client or Dear Customer.
Not that I would click on a link anyway..

Spot on @deni67! Whenever I get electronic correspondence, I go into the branch in person to confirm it.

Wait until the scammers impersonate snail mail with allegedly genuine letters with "authentic lettereads". They probably already engage in such devious tactics.
