Ah, summer days—don’t they bring back memories of cool treats and refreshing sips? While ice cream and icy poles are classics, do you remember the unmistakable fizz of Salvital? For so many Aussies, a tin of this sparkling drink was a staple in the cupboard, ready to quench thirst and cool you down on the hottest of days.

Where I grew up, we had a glass of that every morning. I have been trying to think of that name the last week. Thank you.

I do remember this but only had it occasionally. What I remember the most is lifting the glass up to my mouth and all the fizzy bubbles going up my nose.

I always(at 77), keep a tin on hand even after all these years as whilst not advertising it as such ( delete if not allowed),I find it the only thing that helps with my heart burn and I use when someone is feeling nauseous works every time and no after effects

I remember using this even as a child if my tummy felt upset.m would give me a teaspoon in a glass of water,then LEMON SALINE DRINK CAME ALONG .ALSO GREAT.NOTHING LIKE TJIS ANYMORE........SAD.......I FEEL LIKE A DINASOUR AND AM ONLY 63

I usually buy it from Coles or Woolworths. This is on the Central Coast so not sure if you can get it at these stores in other areas
