Royal photographer stirs controversy after revealing that Camilla is NICER than Princess Diana was – “Diana used to have her moods…”

Princess Diana is a well-loved royal icon around the world for her sincerity, beauty, and compassion for others. To this day, she is still unarguably a favourite among the royals as numerous documentaries about her life along with television shows pop up to reminisce her story – but not even Princess Diana can please everyone.

A royal photographer, Arthur Edwards, came forward about his experience working with the Princess of Wales in comparison to the Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla.

“Diana has been dead for 25 years, so people's memories are slipping, and they've embraced Camilla,” he said. “You know what? Camilla is nicer than Diana. Easier to get on with,”

“Diana used to have her moods, and when she died, she wasn't talking to her mother or Sarah Ferguson because of silly rows. You don't get that with the Duchess.”

This followed after Camilla recently disclosed in an interview with her son Tom Parker Bowles in You magazine, that her cooking skills are limited and she often holds friendly competitions with her husband, Prince Charles, over the fruit and vegetables that they grow.

Detailing her culinary style as “nothing too mucked about or fussy and fiddly”, the Duchess shared that she picked up most of her knowledge about cooking by simply watching her mother, Rosalind Shand, who she claimed made food the 'heart' of her family’s life.

“One of my earliest memories is podding those peas and beans with my mother, an accomplished cook.” she added. “I learned from my mother. I've never followed a recipe in my life.”

“On Friday nights, we were allowed to choose our dinner,” she recalled. “I always went for frozen chicken pie, much to my mother's despair.”

During the Swinging Sixties, Camilla regularly dropped by London's best restaurants, such as Alexander's on the King's Road, saying: “I remember how excited I was when I first ate some prawns and avocado at Alexander's... The combination seemed impossibly exotic.”

Her family spent summers on the island of Ischia, near Naples, where the Duchess claimed she had 'instilled a lifelong passion for Italian food'. In spite of that, she takes little credit for the refined palate of her restaurant critic son, describing herself as “never the most adventurous of cooks”.

Camilla specialised in simple, healthy food when her children were growing up in Wiltshire.

“My cooking is about good ingredients. Nothing too mucked about, or fussy or fiddly. Lots of tarragon chicken, scrambled eggs, bacon, and chicken casserole. There were always roasts on Sunday.”

“The children ate a lot of cheese on toast. We had a kitchen garden... so we ate seasonally before it became en vogue. That's just what you did in the country back then.”

Give me Camilla any day. Diana and her sheepish look from under the eyes gave me the creeps. and just who was the adulterer? Charles one, Diana several.

Watching her interviews way back then I always thought of Diana as a master manipulator, a character flaw I believe, and felt that she was hoodwinking lots of people . Whereas Camilla always seemed to be someone whose love life was thwarted by British aristocratic rules. How different things might have been if Charles had been allowed to marry the love of his life.

Camilla has always been assured of her husband's love. She was an old woman by the time she was faced with photographers and was never subjected to the barrage of publicity that dogged Diana, and finally killed her.
I think the photographer was in poor taste making that remark.

Bull shit Diana was a beautiful caring person i can't believe they killed her off she cared for the very sick people and children i still miss her to this day Camilla is a bag marg (y):LOL:

She was naive and unstable so was easily manipulated by many journalists and unlike her daughter-in-law who laugh her way to the bank by dealing with journalists.

Camilla is much much older than Princess Di, and has left her young and wayward days behind her so of course she is wiser. Di didn’t get a chance to mature in life. I’d be moody too if there were three in my marriage !!’n. No comparison!!!! Camilla was no angel!! Quite the opposite in her younger days !’n

We all are different, we have different view points, of likes and dislikes of people/things. Princess Diana, was a person, that many would love to emulates. She was everything that a "good" person would do. What some said of her is baseless. Her mood swings were the direct results of the sadness that she went through. I must agree, with Camilla, people/we either like, love or dislike her. Diana will always be loved by many.
