Royal parents William and Kate don’t want their youngest Prince Louis to be ‘royal hanger-on’ like the Duke of York

A royal expert claimed that Prince William and Kate Middleton want Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to live normal lives so that they won’t go down the path of being a ‘royal hanger-on’.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, both 39, currently reside at Kensington Palace in London with their children Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 6, and Prince Louis, 3.

According to Camilla Tominey in a video interview with The Telegraph, the royal couple is trying to ‘get the balance right’ with their youngest two children, as their oldest Prince George already has ‘his destiny mapped out’ as heir to the throne.

“The extent to which the Cambridge’s have tried to normalise the lives of their children very much points in the direction of - yes, Prince George has his destiny mapped out but Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis ‘having their own careers’?”

She added, “They've got to get the balance right of what their own children want to do with their lives and their royal commitments.”

“[Kate and William] don't want history to repeat itself and have Prince Louis become a ‘royal hanger-on’ and go down the Duke of York path,” she said, suggesting Charlotte and Louis should be able to have their own careers away from the royal life.

Reports surfaced earlier this month that Prince William has branded Prince Andrew as a 'threat' to the future of the monarchy, as senior members of the Royal Family closed the door on the Duke of York.

The Duke of York has been implicated in a scandal this year due to his friendship with paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.

He is currently fighting a lawsuit by Virginia Giuffre in New York, as she claims she was sexually abused by him on three separate occasions - in London, New York, and on Jeffrey Epstein’s Caribbean Island - when she was seventeen years old.

Prince Andrew, 61, ‘categorically’ denies the accusations Ms Giuffre has against him, and is thought to be making his comeback as a working royal.

This is based on an article written by Harriet Johnson for MailOnline.

Old Andrew he's the original 'gift that keeps giving but which nobody wants.' There's one in every family, but Andrew is a stand-out.

I hope they are able to get the balance right for their kids... that's why I think its better to have a King (so the wife/mother has time for kids)...because while the Queen has been so busy with her job, she's had to rely on staff to raise her children...and noone can give the motherly love like the mother can... William was lucky to have Diana as his mum and role model....Catherine comes from what looks to be a supporting loving family and is close with her parents....so between them, hopefully the next generation has a better rearing and a more stable and happier life.
