It's no secret that most Australians adore football. AFL is one of the most viewed sporting events in the country and has a huge following. However, AFL is often plagued with controversies. From players being involved in drug and alcohol scandals to match-fixing allegations, AFL has had its fair share of problems.
This week is no different as it faces a string of allegations regarding the mistreatment of First Nations players at Hawthorn, throwing a shadow over what should be a celebration of the game.
Executives were likely eager to direct attention to a media opportunity with some of the artists who will perform at the grand final at the MCG on Saturday. It didn’t necessarily go to plan.
Amid all the chaos, was there a hidden Easter egg for the fans during the press conference?

British sensation Robbie Williams was among the performers who joined McLachlan at the stadium on Thursday.
The 48-year-old musician was sporting a mullet-mohawk hairdo and a sequin-leather combo jacket with a red and black diamond design.
However, it was one of Williams' accessories that caught the attention of viewers...
The singer-songwriter was notably wearing a silver bracelet with the words 'f*** off' inscribed on it.
'I do know a little bit about footy,' Williams told the press.
'I have not picked a team fully for who I’m going to support on the regular and I’m not picking a team before the final ... and I don’t want the other half (of the crowd) to boo me while I’m singing.'
'Honoured to be part of the occasion.'
Other big names that were present during the press conference include Delta Goodrem, G-Flip, Katie Noonan, Ngairre, Goanna, Tasman Keith, The Temper Trap, and Mike Brady, who will be performing along with Williams during the event.
So, is Robbie Williams trying to tell us something with his choice of jewellery? Or is he just a devil-may-care pop star who doesn't care about offending any AFL fans out there? Either way, we're sure he'll put on a good show at the grand final.
