Goooood Morning Riddle Masters! Happy Friday! :giggle:

Here is your third and final riddle of the week:

A man calls his dog from the opposite side of the river. The dog crosses the river without getting wet or using a bridge or boat. How?

A bit of a brain-boggler, this one. If you have the answer, post it in the comments below.

Hmmn my initial thought was the river was narrow enough for him to jump from one bank to the other. Doesn't say where (Country) the river is, but if in a frigid location, then the only other opportunity could be that the river is iced over. Alternatively the dog may have (conveniently?) caught a floating log lol (ok, ok ... far-fetched I know). Happy Friday everyone!

The river is frozen

My first thought was "tunnel", (here in Brisbane we have the Clem7 tunnel under the Brisbane River) but then I got to thinking it was more likely the river wasn't flowing, as in it was either dry or frozen.

The river either has no water or frozen over, so the dog is able to cross without getting wet

There is no water in the river (this is Australia - maybe the Todd River?!)
