Revealing the McCheat Sheet! Mcdonalds worker shares secrets to getting fresh food and the best way to get a meal for FREE!

Mcdonald’s has franchises all over the world for a reason. Admit it, we all indulge in a good Macca’s meal from time to time. You can’t deny how delicious their fries are… but only when they aren’t soggy. Yuck!

Thankfully, a Mcdonalds worker has given away a number of behind-the-scenes secrets to getting your order perfect every time— alongside a tip on how to score a meal for free.

19-year-old Macca’s worker Ashton has picked up quite a bit during her year and a half of working for the famous fast-food chain and is going viral on TikTok for sharing all her knowledge.

In a recently posted video, Ashton debunked the ‘secret menu’ trend that had been going on for years and said that all food is customizable.

“The secret menu doesn’t exist. The only secret is that you can literally customize any item on the menu basically, however you want, and we’ll do it.” she said.

Fast food fans have long raved about the ‘secret menu’ items that can be ordered. Mcdonald’s has even included some of those items on their menu: the Land, Air & Sea sandwich.

She also shared that the freshest food is served late at night and customers can get newly cooked fries every single time if they just ask for it. She goes on to dispel the myth that the trick to getting fresh fries is to ask for them without salt.

“That life hack, ‘Get a fry with no salt, ask for no salt at the window and you'll get a fry fresh’ is bulls**t…” Ashton adds. “First of all, you can just ask for the fry made fresh, and they’ll make it fresh. Second of all, you know we can just take the fries in the thing and just put it back in the fryer for like five seconds and it burns all the salt off?”

Ashton also noted that the oil in the fryer gets changed only once a week.

This revelation shocked a couple of users, with one commenting “Once a week…? I’m starting to rethink everything”

“Once a week. At KFC we changed it everyday but we still had rats so yolo (an acronym for the slang ‘you only live once’) I guess.” another wrote.

As to getting a free meal for free, Ashton shares the best way to score this is during instances where they mess up your order.

“If your order gets f***ed, NEVER ask for a refund. Always ask for a free meal card. Literally, such a good deal. You can get any meal on the menu, add whatever you want to that meal… That’s what you do.”

She adds that the meal is still free no matter how expensive the order gets. Well, isn’t that a treat?

Ashton’s ‘fun facts about Mcdonald’s’ video has been viewed over six million times and has amassed 1.5 million likes as of February. It’s being well-received by many and is even approved by a former Mcdonald’s employee.

“Ex Mcdonald’s employee, all facts here.” a user said.

Handy to know that information.
HOWEVER, if I was to encounter any customer service person with the loose language and the non-earthling look this young girl presents with, I wouldnt bother stopping at the collect window for my order, I'd be driving straight through and visit Hungry Jack
