REVEALED: Mum shares the secret to turning your dirty bathroom squeaky clean WITHOUT SCRUBBING
An Aussie mum took to Facebook to share her secret for cleaning old, filthy grout around her tiles fast.

The Australian woman revealed that she’s been using a $2.30 cleaning product from Woolworths to clean tough, discoloured grout in her ensuite.

Strike Bleach Toilet Gel is designed to kill 99.99 per cent of germs and remove tough stains from toilets.

The mum’s Facebook post is a testament to the product’s claim, captioning it with: 'Tile porn brought to you by Strike Bleach Toilet Gel.’

'I ran bottle along the grout, left for a couple of hours, brushed with a grout brush, soaked up the excess with old towels then steam mopped twice,' she wrote in a Facebook group.

She added: ' Recommend opening windows as it is a bleaching agent has some smell.'

'I keep popping back to the ensuite in shock - I can't believe how dirty our new house's grout was when we moved in,' she said.

'Once I started, I couldn't stop it has become a cleaning obsession... It was definitely a super easy process with no scrubbing.'

Hundreds of astounded Facebook users flocked to the mum’s post expressing their amazement with the ‘before’ and ‘after’ photos of her ensuite, with a lot of them saying that they were keen to give the product a go.

One Facebook user wrote: 'Wowser! I should try this.’

Another jokingly replied: 'This needs a warning for sexually explicit content cause god damn this is sexy! I need to clean my floors.'

Other users supported the woman’s claims by professing that they were also using the product.

One user wrote: 'I use that too! It’s so cheap and very effective in lifting dirt from the grout. Our bathroom looks brand new every time.'

‘I have also recently used bleach toilet cleaner to clean my grout... has come up amazing,’ another added.

While one woman warned: 'This is how I've always cleaned my grout, just make sure you don't use a coloured bleach. 'I used blue toilet duck last time I did the grout in my bathroom (wasn't thinking) and the grout now has a green tint so now I have to do it again.'

Meanwhile, other users suggested chemical-free alternatives to clean grouts.

'Lemon juice is awesome for this too. I leave it on for about a minute and then give it a little scrub and it comes up great,' one wrote.

Another said: 'I found cleaning vinegar works really well and the smell isn’t as harsh as bleach.'

A third added: 'I used the magic erasers and it was brilliant too no chemicals.’

I tried Colgate toothpaste and old tootjbrushes, just kike brushing teeth but in floor grout. Let it dry then used th ee usual hot water squeegee. It worked well and smelled "minty fresh".

That's a great tip! I think it might take a bit longer with a toothbrush though?
