Retired, but never been busier​

Hi everyone, I'm Robeo56 and really enjoying the platform. Although now "retired' I have never been busier. I guess as an artist, I'll still be "working" until I can no longer hold a pencil or pen. (Graphite and fineliner). Working on a few health issues, but also, I've been on a fitness and health buzz for the last 8 or so months and have managed to lose 26 kg's.
I can't remember when I've felt so fit and energetic, I was probably in my 30's. Anyho, great to be here, and looking forward to meeting you.

I do feel kind of proud that I have set some serious goals and are close to achieving them. More so, however, that I have managed to change my lifestyle by realization that when we change the way we think, we can actually change our lives.
I draw just about anything, from portraits, through to landscapes. I love to draw old rustic scenes. My partner and I wrote a book, based around my art, 'Beyond the fence' in and around the Lockyer Valley, Where I drew all the old abandoned, derelict, buildings dotted around the Lockyer Valley. To me they were once the pride of someone. And once they're gone, that's it they're gone forever.
I draw in graphite and fineliner pens, love grayscale.
I have a YouTube channel Rusticated-Art, although I haven't been on there for a while, but I have over 200 videos. I also run art classes, here in my studio, 'An introduction to graphite drawing' plus more advanced classes as well.
I will definitely check the forums you mentioned Tricia. Once again thank you.
