If you're looking to cook up this recipe as well, here are the ingredients you will need!

For the marinade:
  • 400 grams sliced beef (Morgan recommends eye or scotch fillet steak)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • Large pinch of sea salt
  • 1 tsp white pepper
  • 1/2 tsp bicarb soda
  • 1 teaspoon corn flour
  • 1/4 tsp Chinese five-spice
For the stir fry:
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1/2 red onion, sliced thinly
  • 1* 2cm piece ginger, grated
  • 1-2 birds' eye chilli (depending on your preferred heat level)
  • 1 * 3cm piece lemongrass, finely chopped
  • 1/4 bunch Spring onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 400 g Hokkien noodles, cooked in water as per manufacturer’s instructions
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup chicken stock
  • 3 tablespoons kecap manis
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 bunch Chinese broccoli, sliced
For the garnish:
  • Spring onion, finely sliced
  • Birds eye chilli, sliced,
  • Crispy Shallots
  • Coriander leaves

And here's how to do it:

First, start by making the beef marinade. In a bowl, combine the meat with soy sauce, oyster sauce, bicarb soda, cornflour, five-spice, salt, and pepper. Mix the contents of the bowl and make sure the beef is fully coated in the sauce and flour, then set aside. (Morgan recommends letting the beef marinate for an hour.)

In a hot wok with some oil, stir fry the onions, ginger, chilli, lemongrass, spring onion and garlic. Once the onions are soft, set them aside for later.

Add the marinated beef to the wok and fry both sides until golden brown. Return the onions to the pan along with the cooked noodles, and saute to combine.

While the stir fry is cooking, pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce as well as some kecap manis which is a thick, sweet soy sauce.

Add some chopped up Chinese broccoli and stir to combine, frying over high heat for two to three minutes until cooked.

For the garnish, add some spring onion, chilli, crispy shallots and coriander.

The number of ingredients may intimidate you, but the whole recipe is actually really simple and straightforward! Morgan received a slew of enthusiastic replies after sharing the quick and tasty dish with hundreds of his followers.

"So easy, so delicious, and so enticing!" one viewer wrote in the comments. Another one added: "Words cannot describe how much we want this."

This recipe looks so delish!! Looks like tonight's dinner is sorted…
