Radiogram

Do you remember how you used to sit by the radio, waiting for your favourite song to come on? Before iPods and CDs, the radio was the only way to listen to music. The image above shows a radiogram, a popular way to listen to music in the 1950s. They were typically made of wood and featured a large speaker that produced a clear sound. It’s a reminder of simpler times when people weren’t so glued to their screens and gadgets. Instead, they would simply sit and enjoy each other's company while the radiogram provided the soundtrack to their lives. Who still has one of these?
