Protect against Hey Mum Scam

RE: Hey Mum scams.

These scams are becoming very prevalent, but there maybe one simple way to protect one self.

Scammers take advantage of the emotional factor, so why not take advantage of using a password. This will need to established with son or daughter before hand in an atmosphere of calmness. When a scammer makes contact with a parent then ask what is the password.

We use passwords for so many other things in life, why not use it in this situation. It will only take a few seconds to ask, but will save a lot of grief later on.
