Popular Aussie coffee brand introduces two new and exciting variants!

Attention all coffee enthusiasts and dairy-free devotees!

After years of waiting, a beloved iced coffee brand is stirring up the market with a significant change that will delight a growing segment of its fan base.

Dare Iced Coffee is finally introducing a dairy-free twist to two of its most popular offerings.

The clamour for dairy-free options has been loud and clear on social media since 2018, with passionate pleas from consumers who had to forgo their Dare fix due to dietary restrictions.

'Absolutely love Dare iced coffee. Other products just don’t compare. But I’ve recently gone vegan and can no longer justify your deliciousness,’ one comment said.

‘Is there any chance you would consider making a non-dairy version? I know a fair few people who would buy it if you did.'

'I can’t tell you how much I crave a Dare. But because I am now allergic to dairy, I cannot have it anymore and it makes me very sick. When are you guys going to bring out a dairy-free range?’ another lamented.

‘Honestly, the people need this.'

The two dairy-free options—Double Espresso and Mocha—will cater to the tastes and dietary needs of vegans, lactose intolerant individuals, and anyone looking to reduce their dairy intake.

Their dairy-free range will be available in independent supermarkets and convenience stores from April 15.

Coles will follow suit by stocking the new products from April 29. Woolworths will join the party on June 22.

Adelle Cosgrove, the Marketing Manager for Iced Coffee at the Bega Group, shared their excitement about the launch.

'We’re thrilled to introduce Dare Dairy Free, a great-tasting option for those seeking a dairy-free fix without sacrificing the enjoyment of a classic Dare Iced Coffee experience.'

Cosgrove emphasised that this launch is not about saying goodbye to dairy but welcoming more options into Dare's legendary lineup.

'We welcome all Aussies who are seeking a dairy-free iced coffee to pick up Dare Dairy Free next time they’re on the go,' she added.

This move by Dare Iced Coffee is not just a win for those with dietary restrictions; it's also a nod to the growing trend of plant-based alternatives in the food and beverage industry.

As more consumers become health and environment-conscious, the demand for sustainable and inclusive options continues to rise.

Dare's commitment to maintaining the robust flavour and creamy texture that its fans love—while using non-dairy ingredients—means you don't have to compromise on taste.

So what is the plant based sludge that is used as a milk substitute? Is it fortified with calcium and sweetened so it doesn't taste like dirt infused swamp water?

I won't be trying it and continue to have my rare iced coffee, home made with FULL CREAM COW'S MILK.
