poppy seed loaf​

In primary school, I used to go to the tuck shop across the road from the school and order my lunch. Always the same thing. For twopence, I always ordered half a poppyseed loaf with tomato filling. When I picked it up at lunch time, I would squash it down hard and the tomato would soak into the bread and I would savor every mouthful of the so fresh bread and the squished tomato. Yum!!!
