Poor Mans Christmas Cake​

I first learned this recipe when I was very young and have never seen it anywhere, so thought I'd share it.
Depending on how big a cake you want the recipe is as follows Take stale bread and soak it well in water
then squeeze all the water out and put it in a bowl and mix with whatever dried you have to hand also I use a
bit of Brandy or Rum for flavouring once it is well mixed place it in a greased baking dish and cook at 180c
till your skewer comes out clean, sprinkle a bit of sugar the top while it's still hot, then your good to go with a brandy sauce, custard, etc.
