Plastique!

So let me get this straight. I go to the grocery store and buy half a kilo of sliced ham wrapped in plastic, a loaf of bread in plastic, 3 litres of milk in a plastic container, a pack of toilet paper wrapped in plastic, a Greek salad in a plastic container, a plastic bottle of mustard, and a plastic bottle of tomato sauce, and they won't give me a plastic bag to carry it home because plastic bags are bad for the environment?

I agree - let's use more glass bottles and recycle them like we used to. My Mum always said that recycling wasn't new - when she was younger you recycled every type of bottle possible, saved things like brown wrapping paper and string and reused them, always had shoes resoled etc.

Lol, those where the bad old days! I remember the Elwood channel being used as a dumping ground for peoples rubbish. Hahaha. It's beautiful and clean now.
