Whether you’re going on a picnic, need lunchbox ideas or are having a party,
these little savouries will be a hit. The variations are limited only by your
imagination. In this recipe I have used pizza sauce and cheese and kept it basic , but play around
with ham, bacon, pineapple, onion, mushrooms or pesto.
If using mushrooms cook before using
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 15-20 minutes

Ingredients:
2 sheets ready rolled puff pastry, thawed
½ cup pizza sauce
1 cup grated cheese
Method:
• Spread the sauce evenly over the pastry, then sprinkle over the cheese.
• Roll the pastry into a log. • Brush the end with a little water and press down to seal the seam.
• Place the logs in the fridge for 15 minutes to harden.
• Preheat oven to 180°C (160 c fan forced) and line a baking tray with baking paper.
• Remove the logs from the fridge, and using a serrated knife gently cut the logs
into 1-cm-wide pieces.
• Lay the pieces flat on the oven tray 1 cm (½ inch) apart and bake for 15–20
minutes or until golden.
Serves: Approx.24 portions
