phone bill payment scam​

Just thought I would let you know of a SCAM email going around.

It is supposed to be from TELSTRA, Below is the email wording

I have been in contact with TELSTRA and notified them of this.

The giveaway signs are firstly having to open a “link” and “leave it open”

The other sign is “TELSTR” in the from address, there is no “A”
don't open, just delete it



Email heading:

We are unable to complete the billing

Telstr Billing Team [[email protected]]

Your AutoPay payment was unsuccessful Hello, We are sending you this email to inform you that we are unable to process the payment of the last owing bill. To fix that problem, You need to update your credit card in your account. Please keep the window ( SMS OTP CODE ) open on your browser if the Code is slow to be received. Open My Telstra​ Kind regards Your Telstra

yeah, and I pay my bill when it's due and get notification that it has been proccessed not by automatic bank or automatic credit card debit
