Do you remember the rocket ship playgrounds that once stood tall in parks across Australia? Back in the day, kids would climb to the top, peering out like astronauts ready to fly. We used to play on one of these in the local park near our home. We had so much fun climbing and driving the rocket spaceship. It filled many hours of outdoor games.

They weren’t any near me when I was growing up, but I do remember climbing on one by the beach in the playground. There was still one there in the park until recently.
Lots of fun for us space mad kids!
