Paddy
Paddy decides to go and get a job so goes to the local council to ask if there is any work available.
Foreman comes over and says yes and can you start now?
Paddy says yes and foreman hands Paddy a paint brush and a can of white marking paint.
Foreman then takes him out on the road and tells Paddy that he wants him to paint a white line down the side of the road.
Paddy happily starts to paint the white line and after a week the foreman asks Paddy how did he do.
Paddy replies that the first day he painted 5 kilometres, 2nd day 4 kilometres and 2 the next and yesterday only did 1/2 a kilometre.
Foreman was livid at this and asked why then did Paddy only do 1/2 a kilometre yesterday?
Paddy replies well the paint can was getting further away!
