Now, I also have a lovely suggestion to make your toilet look like a five star hotel amenity especially when you are expecting guests who will be dining with you and may use the toilet. I hope I can explain: fold the end of the toilet paper twice (left then right) creating a pointed end. Then, open your bassin water tap just briefly and close it again. Make sure is not dripping. Then hold the toilet roll underneath and press it lightly under the water tap and hang the toilet roll, of course "over". After a minute it will start drying and you will end up with a creative design. If the picture here is too large, let me know, and I will remove it

I was advised by my physics-trained son that hanging toilet paper under but not hanging down the wall is healthier since no urine splatter could reach it. This is especially useful with boys still learning to get their aim correct when urinating. Having read the over the top reasons, I think I'll change to that - the boys are all grown up now anyway, although hubby is losing his accuracy as he gets older - maybe stay with under & not hanging?
