My health and fitness challenges commenced in 2014 after I retired from work due to a health issue. That October nine years ago I walked the 800 Km Camino de Santiago which took 35 days and this journey changed my life. Each year since I've embarked on historical significant treks like the Komino Kodo Buddhist traiks in Japan, Jesus Trail Israel, Himalayas and also returning to my beloved Caminos in Soain, Portugal and France where I still walk for 21 days carrying just a backpack.
