Organise your linen cupboard with this $5.50 brilliant Kmart trick!

Is your linen cupboard a chaotic jumble of bed sheets, pillowcases, and towels? You're not alone. Many of us struggle to keep our linen closets in order, despite our best folding efforts.

But fear not—a clever Kmart shopper has shared a simple yet ingenious trick that could revolutionise your storage woes for $5.50!

The savvy shopper discovered that the Narrow Fridge Organiser with Handle ($5.50), typically used to sort fruits and vegetables, is perfect for tidying up those unruly linen shelves.

Priced at just $5.50 each, these organisers offer an affordable and effective solution to streamline your cupboard chaos.

The shopper shared her discovery on social media, explaining how she reorganised her linen cupboard using these kitchen storage items.

'Reorganised the linen cupboard for sheet storage. Super quick, easy and available in the kitchen storage area (beats the linen version for me),' she wrote.

'At only $5.50 each, it certainly makes it very easy to pop on down to the local store and grab more if needed. Kmart Australia for the win!'

The post quickly garnered praise from fellow shoppers, who were quick to commend the 'brilliant idea.'

Many expressed a preference for this hack over other more expensive storage options, such as Kmart's $12 bed linen box.

‘That’s what I do! I love how they are sturdy, ventilated, clear, and you don’t have to be a pro at folding the sheets since the container is large enough to accommodate all styles of folding techniques,’ one person said.

Others chimed in with their approval, with one saying, 'I’m stealing this idea, thanks for sharing,' and another adding, 'Great idea, I was worried about the sheets being in a box with the other option but [with] this they still have air circulating.'

When asked about the capacity of these organisers, the original poster confirmed, ‘You can fit one set of sheets or quilt with pillowcases. I fit my Super King sheet set with pillowcases.’

But the versatility of these fridge organisers doesn't stop at linen.

Shoppers have found many uses for them around the house. They're dishwasher safe, BPA-free, have a top carry handle and boast a 4.8-star rating on Kmart's website.

‘These fridge organisers are a perfect fit under the sink at a very cheap price,’ one shopper wrote in their review, with another adding, ‘Have used to organise cake boards and card stock. Perfect size.’

‘I use these organisers to hold my baking trays and serving platters. It is so much easier getting the right tray out of the cupboard. No more having trays slipping and sliding everywhere! Wish I had done this years ago!’ another user shared.

Even professional organiser Curate Home (@curatehome_nz) has endorsed the product, calling it her 'favourite Kmart organisation product' and revealing that she uses them 'all over the house’.

‘Bonus hack- two of these will fit in one square cubby space,’ she shared.
