When you say Boxing Day, many Aussies immediately think of cricket, and one unforgettable moment is Dennis Lillee’s 10 famous wickets during the 1981 Test at the MCG. That dramatic final ball helped Australia secure a 58-run victory. Did you witness this historic moment? Share your favourite Test cricket memories here.

Lilly, Lilly, I remember that . I also remember watching Lilly Bowl at the SCG and everyone chanting Lillee's name.
I remember also seeing Merv Hughes stretching on the outfield.

So many memories of cricket 🏏

Batsmen – Greg Chappell (captain), Kim Hughes (vice captain), Allan Border, Graeme Wood, Bruce Laird, John Dyson, Graham Yallop (back up wicketkeeper) Fast bowlers – Dennis Lillee, Len Pascoe, Jeff Thomson, Geoff Dymock. Spinners – Ray Bright, Ashley Mallett, Wicketkeeper – Rod Marsh.

A good reminder of the days when we had Lillee and Thomo who terrified the opposition.
What a pair! Boxing Day at the G was a must until recently, as was the footy season. I knew nothing of these games until my sons started school. As a single mother I then learnt everything about them. I wasn't going to become a 'sports widow'.

Yes, what an extraordinary team as mentioned by Suzanne Rose.
Thommo reminds me of Frank "Typhoon" Tyson, the English fast bowler. I reckon that those two guys were taught by the same tutor. Fast powerful bombs. Brett lee wasn't far behind either.

NOVEZAR.
