Has anyone visited the Old Parliament House in Canberra? Unfortunately, there isn’t much context to this photo besides the fact that it was taken in the 1940s. It is said that the humble three-story structure was never meant to be a permanent location for the Australian Parliament, as it was built to serve for about 50 years. Currently, the building is a venue for various events, such as lectures and concerts. It also houses the Museum of Australian Democracy.
