as soon I saw the first petal and it's colour I knew which rose it was. I was thrilled as I haven't seen it for a long time and I took great joy growing this beautiful rose for many years. Thanks for the memory
 
I’m not a “big” rose fan, but I have nine of these beauties growing in a half circle near my bedroom window….the most amazing perfume….only downfall they seem to have lots of thorns

that does seem to be it's only drawback but who cares when you get both the colour and perfume.

Lovely photo. Love roses and tulips. My mum loved and grew roses and we had some rose bushes in our front garden here till the goat ate them but still got one in the back garden
