Odd Names
This man was named ''Odd'', yep his parents named him ''Odd''
and he hated it and was the brunt of jokes all his life. He married,
and had children and one day he told his wife how much he hated
his name and made her promise that when he died
she would not put his name on the tombstone.
When he passed away she called all the children together and
told them of his request.
They buried him, and on his tombstone, they put the date of birth
and the date of death but left the rest blank.
Now when people walk through the cemetery and see the headstone the say
'' That's odd.''
