Now I Remember!​

Realised I had to use the bathroom.
Got up and walked across the house to the pantry.
Couldn't remember why I was in the pantry.
Remembered I had to use the bathroom.
Walked across the house to the bathroom.
Sitting on the throne, I remembered why I went to the pantry.
Toilet paper!

(actually it's not just absent mindedness that causes it.
Our brains are programmed to drop 'irrelevant thoughts' when the scenery around us changes.

E.G.'when you leave the Forrest and go into the grassland you're in danger from saber tooth cats. So you better forget about protecting your head from falling monkey sh*t!"

Sadly our brains haven't had long enough in the modern world to recalibrate the instinct.)

I get it, yup I have done similar things to that regularly. How far did I get before I realised I'd forgotten what I went for.
As we "mature", I think it is just one thing that becomes more often, than before.
So relax, you are getting exercise you hadn't planned on.
