Nostalgia/Yesterday's Australia

Sitting on Dad's knee while he sang me Scottish songs. Having to do the dishes and sweep the floor before we could all sit down in the lounge to listen to the serials. Having picnics in the back yard. Getting the milk, ice, fruit and veges delivered. Going to the bakers for fresh bread and eating half of it before getting home. Pictures on a Saturday afternoon and not seeing the first film as we tried to figure out how we would spend our 1 penny pocket money. Dad making us sit at the table after Sunday dinner while he opened the dictionary and he picked a random word and we had to remember what it meant, how to spell it and use it in a sentence and many, many more. We were taught many things,
