I was being introduced many years ago to an actual nun in the place where I worked, and after a brief conversation she started to turn as if to leave but then stopped and looked back at me and said "You can kiss a nun once".

My mind was racing. What did she mean? Surely this wasn't an invitation? Before I had a chance to react in any way she continued "You can even kiss a nun twice".

I didn't know what to do or how to react but my mind was still racing when she continued again... "But whatever you do, don't get into the habit."

And at that she turned and left. It had never occurred to me before that, that a nun could have such a sense of humor.
