I couldn't remember how the Red Riding Hood story finished, so I googled it, there is a few different endings, here are 2 of them ........

At the end of Perrault's "Little Red Riding Hood" the wolf gobbles up both the grandmother and the girl and they meet their end. This ending differs slightly from various other versions where a hunter stumbles upon the cottage and cuts the little girl and her grandmother from the wolf's stomach.

In other tellings of the story, the wolf chases after Little Red Riding Hood. She escapes with the help of some laundresses, who spread a sheet taut over a river so she may escape. When the wolf follows Red over the bridge of cloth, the sheet is released and the wolf drowns in the river.

How did the story finish when you were little?
