I’m a cat person but have had a dog earlier in my life.

Yes, We have 2 cats Princess (black female ) who we adopted as an adult cat and Max (Multi coloured female)who was rescued from someones roof as the mother got killed on a busy street. she was very young and the people who had her gave her to us.Max was a feral kitten, never been held had never ventured out of the roof before she was found. Max and I are very close.When hubby and I go to bed she comes too and sleeps at my feet. When I am in my office she sleeps on the window sill next to me lol.

Oh they are absolute darlings! I'm a bit of a sucker for long-haired cats tbh. I force them to cuddle even when they don't want to! Haha
