Just as a quick ice breaker, can you tell us some of your favourite things to do?

My favourite things to do are walking along the beach (of which we have plenty in Port Lincoln), which I do most days (weather permitting), with my dog Diesel (choc brown lab/kelpie cross). Spending time with my kids/grandies and friends is always fun, with lots of laughs and crazy antics; going to the cinema; out for lunch/dinner with friends and travel ... just to name a few. When the weather is too bitter, I spend time doing crosswords, code crackers, word searches on my laptop. Another great game is Hearts online, being a card game that gets me thinking and keeps my brain from freezing and I enjoy a challenge! I like playing poker, but cannot find a game online that does not involve money and is just for fun - any tips anyone?

Travelling to new places is also on my agenda, which has been stalled somewhat due to covid - hopefully my plans will get another kickstart in the near future.

I love a good belly laugh and enjoy a good joke - not sure about anyone else, but I find that my friends and I have developed a more wicked sense of humour as we got older ...

Sounds like you have a great life. I will be travelling to Port Lincoln in the future as my son is moving up there for work. Wemay pass each other in the street

Oh wow - it is a small world afterall! Your son has picked a great spot to settle and may I ask where has he obtained employment? Being a born and bred local I probably know them!
