So far so good !Hi everyone
Hope you all have a lovely weekend .
@MummaG if I’m being honest that sounds like the perfect life to me as I’ve heard, becoming a grandparent is such a different experience from becoming a parent. You’re in for a treat. Has your son named the baby yet?I live on the beautiful Sunshine Coast QLD. Mum of 2 boys 31yrs & 29yrs and about to become a Nana for the first time to a little girl. 8 weeks to go. I have started buying books to read to her and planning fairy gardens I can't wait !
oooer isn't it bad luck to name before the birth???@MummaG if I’m being honest that sounds like the perfect life to me as I’ve heard, becoming a grandparent is such a different experience from becoming a parent. You’re in for a treat. Has your son named the baby yet?

My mother ( passed many years ago ) gave me advice on naming my children " go out the paddock and bellow the name, two maybe three times, if it sound good, then thats the name, it's got to sound good ! My name is Trevor....so I guess she bellowed that one out a few times TREV.................OR...........................................TREVOR.................................TREV...ORRRRRRRR...............seems it passed. They have a name picked out but they haven't told anyone. Got to have some surprises...
I agree. When it came to Naming our sons we took into consideration- can it be shortened and if so what will it be shortened to. will they get a nickname and what could that be? We ended up with Joshua (Josh) for our first born and Jarred for our second son.My mother ( passed many years ago ) gave me advice on naming my children " go out the paddock and bellow the name, two maybe three times, if it sound good, then thats the name, it's got to sound good ! I remember mum saying to think about the initials the first letter of the name made as well, to avoid the obvious, as an example if the surname was lets say Davies, you would likely avoid calling your child Sam Arthur......ie SADI agree.
