Hi, I am very glad to be a member in this group. Below is a short summary of myself.

I was born in Malacca, Malaysia and had my primary and secondary education in Malacca. I graduated as a Gelogist from University of Malaya in 1975.
We lived in Malacca and I started working in the oil-fields in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Phillipines.
My work schedule was 4 weeks on and 2 weeks off. Sometimes it is 4 weeks on and 4 weeks off.

My wife and our 3 kids got our Australia PR status in early 1991 and we arrived Perth, WA in Sept 1991.
I start working in the off-shore oil field up north WA. Later, I was transferred to work in the Middle East eg Oman, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar. I have also worked in the oil field in Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Kazakhstan.

I was retrenched in 2010 and have been taking it easy from then on.
I am officially a Pensioner after 2010.
