what free time!!! I seem to have been busier than ever since I retired - helping out with the grandkids and attending all their school sports, excursions and special events etc (although I have to admit that was one of the reasons I gave up working and I enjoy every minute of it) takes up a huge amount of my time. Also unfortunately I have had to devote a lot of time to visiting my mother in NZ as she has had some health issues over the last 2 years. I am just starting to focus a little bit more on me and have started playing tennis again. I am also rediscovering the joys of the local library and reading again. I hope to do some travelling in the near future but for the time being when I do have a few quiet moments I get out the knitting needles or the sewing machine, so nothing exciting but it's all part of the process of winding down and destressing after 50 years of working and raising a family at the same time.
