Hi, I'm Ron, a retired widower. I'm a guitarist of fifty years and founder of the Musicians Group at
the local Men's Shed in 2018. We play 50's to 80's rock, pop, blues, country, folk, acoustic. We have
two formal bands, "Old Chisel" and "Splinter". Weekly sessions are for our own enjoyment and we
play occasional festivals for local councils or charity events. I'm also an artist and I enjoy working
with timber and furniture restoration.

Oh, this makes me so happy! I used to be a musician too I would play the acoustic guitar and hold gigs around my university. It's wonderful to know that we have something in common. Welcome to the SDC!
