Nesquik

Who remembers the iconic Nestle's Quik? These cans, containing chocolaty goodness, were a staple in many households. Trying to crack them open with spoons or knives was an everyday struggle! Back in the 1950s, it was Nestle’ Quik, or as it was fondly called, Nestle’s. Fast forward to '99, and it became Nesquik, offering various flavours. Did you take large spoonfuls of Nesquik and hope not to get caught? Share your fond memories in the comments below.

It was always a toss up which was the best, Nesquik or Milo. I enjoyed Milo more, especially the crunchy froth and the last of it on the bottom, yum. I also remember that our local Chemist would give me a sachet of Nesquik on my way home every day after state school in winter so that my mum could make me a hot chocolate drink when I got home. Thanks Mr Benton, much appreciated. 🤔😋🤣😉

Does anyone remember the flavored straws they used to have? I remember them very well, i loved picking out one of your choice of flavours and put them in a glass of milk and you had instant flavoured milk...it was great to take to school when we had small bottles of milk in the morning.

Yes I remember those straws Marnyy, as you say you could get different flavours, I used to love chocolate milk but made with Milo, because it was better tasting than Nesquik, however the strawberry Nesquik drinking straws made a great change I must admit. Had totally forgotten about them to be honest, thanks for reviving the memory.

Nope don't remember them at all.
