Who remembers when neighbours were like family? Back in the ’50s, kids played outside until dark, doors were always open for a cuppa, and a friendly chat over the fence was the norm. Now, with garage doors shutting as soon as cars pull in, we barely see each other. Do you miss those days? Share your memories here!

I live on a new housing estate and I can walk my dog and not see a soul. Yesterday, was different. I spoke to people as we were passing their gardens and when I got back in my street I was greeted to a sight not seen for ages. Groups of kids playing outside from different houses. It was so lovely to see. My dog and I enjoyed our walk so much. He got lots of pats and I got to chat with the neighbours. It so unusual for kids to be playing outdoors these days, it was like stepping back in time
