Neighbours to end with a star-studded finale episode – don't miss it!

Fans of the television show Neighbours have been aware for some time now that their time spent watching the residents of Ramsay Street come and go will soon be coming to an end.

The end of the long-running Australian television series will take place on July 28, 2022, marking the end of the show's 37-year run.

But as we mourn the loss of one of Australia's most beloved soaps, fans have been treated to a slew of familiar faces returning to their roles to bid farewell to the neighbourhood that has been near and dear to every Aussie's heart.

Ahead of the show's series finale, we already know that some of the show's most memorable characters will be there to say goodbye to Erinsborough.

There have been a few cast members who have transitioned from soap operas to the Academy Awards over the years, but that hasn't stopped them from going back to where their careers began.

Here are some of the cast members you can look forwards to seeing at the highly anticipated Neighbours series finale:

Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan as Charlene and Scott Robinson

Scott and Charlene were wed in a ceremony back in 1987, and now the couple is returning to give us an update on their travels.

The couple parted ways with Neighbours within a year of each other, but their characters stayed together after the move to Brisbane even though they were no longer on screen together.

After Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan quit the show, they went on to have extremely successful careers of their own and remained good friends even after parting ways professionally.

Delta Goodrem as Nina Tucker

The last time we saw Nina Tucker was in 2015 when the cast of Neighbours celebrated the show's milestone 30th anniversary.

Nina, who was known as the quiet girl next door, toiled tirelessly to demonstrate her musical abilities. During her most recent job, she worked at the Lassiter's hotel to start her musical career while earning some money and giving back to her community.

Delta Goodrem has, without a doubt, been blessed with an incredibly successful career, especially in Australia. She has a long list of top-charting albums under her belt, has appeared in more acting roles, has modelled for Revlon, and even served as a judge on Australia's The Voice.

Margot Robbie as Donna Freedman

The last time Donna appeared on Neighbours was in 2011 when she left Ramsay Street to attend fashion school in New York. In the show, Donna famously wed her longtime boyfriend Ringo, who was tragically killed by Steph Scully's motorcycle.

As everyone knows, Margot Robbie is without a doubt one of the most famous graduates to ever emerge from the show.

Currently one of Hollywood's most well-known actors, she has received two Academy Award nominations: one for Best Supporting Actress for her work in Bombshell (2019), and the other for Best Actress for her work in I, Tonya (2018).

The final episode of Neighbours will be a 90-minute special that will air on Channels 10 and 10 Peach at the same time, beginning at 7:30 pm on July 28.

Don't miss out, folks!
