Name & Shame: What are the worst products/services you've ever paid for?

Hello there members!

We recently had member Antonio G. email us about some products he has bought that haven't quite performed as they should and it got us thinking, what are the worst products / services you have ever paid for? What are some 'dud deals' you have experienced? We aren't talking about scams, let's leave the scammers talk to our Scam Watch thread, we are talking those every day buys or deals you go after that really weren't worth it, even if they were a bit cheaper?

Antonio G. for example, emailed us and said:

"1- Few years ago I bought one of those $30 cast iron pots. It lasted only about 18months.
The enamel peeled off. It's now outside growing herbs.
It may look good but it is seriously inferior! I am now using one that I bought on sale at Harris Scarf for $70 appx.
2- ALDI Baunh 65’ smart tv - very disappointed. The HDMI ARC connection doesn’t work properly. It is placed on the side of tv and the
cable connection is poor. Sound to my sound bar frequently cut and now not working at all. TV less than 1yr old."

Obviously, both of these things are things we usually promote. I personally even have the Kmart $30 Cast Iron Pot (but I've only had it for a few weeks) and haven't had any issues yet, but I wonder if mine too will be in the garden in about 18 months time?

So tell us, and warn our fellow members, what are the products / services you paid for that honestly, wasn't worth the deal, discount, or saving?
