Naked woman bites, stabs, and terrifies travellers in airport meltdown

Airports are no strangers to chaos, but every now and then, an incident unfolds that leaves travellers stunned and authorities scrambling to respond.

What began as a seemingly bizarre outburst at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport soon escalated into a chaotic scene.

Bystanders watched in disbelief as officials scrambled to regain control.

An unsettling incident at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport left travellers in shock as a woman stripped naked and allegedly assaulted multiple people in a chaotic outburst.
Video circulating on social media showed the woman, later identified as Samantha Palma, behaving erratically—breaking a display screen, tossing water into the air, and moving suggestively while onlookers watched in disbelief.

She reportedly referred to herself as ‘the goddess Venus’ and lashed out at those around her.

At one point, a bystander offered her a coat, but she screamed ‘f*** you’ and ran off.

Authorities alleged that Palma attacked an airport restaurant manager, using his own pencil to stab him in the head and face as he attempted to restrain her.

She was also accused of biting him on the forearm, leaving bruises and breaking the skin.

Another person was allegedly stabbed during the ordeal.
When police arrived, they found Palma covered in blood that was not her own and hiding behind an emergency door.

The incident, described as a ‘manic episode,’ left airport staff and passengers rattled as authorities worked to regain control of the situation.

More shocking images were captured, leaving travellers stunned and authorities scrambling to respond.

Obviously the woman had severe mental health problems.People suffering a manic attack quite often think they are God , the Virgin Mary. the Chosen One etc.
My ex husband suffered from Manic Depression and would believe he was God. I would have to have him committed so they could bring him back down. They have no recollection of most of what they have said or done afterwards although they do recall the feelings they experienced. Very difficult to cope with as a psychiatrist told me that most sufferers won't stay on their meds because they like the euphoric feeling of being "high" instead of feeling depressed.
I came home one day and he was
bobbing up and down while walking around the garden He told me he was exercising the (imaginery) camels??
A pretty harmless episode, but unfortunately all episodes were not that harmless and after a night where he had me pinned up against a wall with a knife at my throat I finally gave up and left.
You can't help someone who can't, or won't, help themselves. So sad

I’m not sure it was necessary to make the video available here. Why sensationalise an obviously serious mental health episode.
I suppose it is necessary as a warning to people to stay as far away from anyone having an episode like this. It would make matters worse if you approach such a person.

A visual warning isn’t necessary. Common sense is.

The Dallas Fort Worth airport is a very busy airport. There would surely have been someone qualified to deal with the woman in an appropriate way.

My son’s “partner” had an “episode” during the time they were staying with me. She was in the chemist to get her methadone dose, when she suddenly began screaming “help me” and stripped naked.

Luckily, the staff were able to calm her down. She was known to them.

Mental health issues, I have a step-daughter who has been diagnosed with schizophrenia and she is usually stable. She visited use last year and was off her meds. We didn`t know that she was not taking her medication at the time and it was quite the experience. I didn`t cope with this at the time, and feel quite guilty about it now. She is usually quite good natured person who would not dream of harming a hair on anyone`s head. The trouble is that there is not enough support for people with mental health issues. Pychosis is something I find very confronting especially when the erratic behaviour begins. That`s all I`ve got to say, except it is also very hard on the person with mental health issues.

That must have been terrifying for you  but you’re right, you can’t help someone who won’t be helped and you have to put yourself first sometimes for your own sanity……
